The practical and efficient solution for the fast on spot fault location.
The EZ-Thump is the compact and light weight, battery or mains powered solution for the fault location in MV or LV cables. It presents the ideal supplement for a satellite-based concept in areas of lower distribution density and failure rate, where fast reaction, weight, size and economy are the driving factors. The system requires no adjustments and needs only to be operated by a rotary encoder.
The SPG 5-1000 is a portable multi-functional system for cable testing, fault conditioning pre- and pinpoint location of faults in low voltage distribution systems.
Using the patented ICEplus pre-location method the operator has a very easy to use tool for prelocation of faults, especially in branched low voltage distribution systems. The evaluation of a reflection measurement is not required. The fault distance is directly displayed as numerical value. The branches have no influence on the measurement.
The unit is controlled by the integrated rotary encoder and a graphic LCD for the visualisation of modes and adjusted parameters. The system supports easy handling, supports successful operation even for untrained users, and provides maximum technical safety.
The Surgeflex 8 is a mobile, small and economical fault locating system, specially suited for the fault location in low voltage but also in medium voltage systems, for lighting system, pilot cables and for deep well pump cables. With its voltage levels of 2 – 4 – 8 kV the system is perfectly suited for the fault location in these low voltage applications. The available surge energy of 1000 Joule covers all requirements.
The modular construction, mounted on a trolley permits the use and transport as complete system but also allows the separation and transport in smaller components.
This new system requires significantly less training than a traditional thumper-only system. The SMART-Thump™ 16 is the only fault locator with built-in intelligence to interpret the results of the initial test sequence. The “Turn & Click” rotary button operation lets the user automatically proof test, prelocate, and pinpoint the fault from one convenient control console. No adjustments are required.
The Surgeflex 32 is a mobile system for testing and fault locating on low and medium voltage cables. The test and surge voltage of up to 32 kV makes the SPG 32 suitable for all low voltage and medium voltage cable networks. The KLV® (Short time Arc Reflection Method) is used for prelocation of high resistance faults up to 32 kV. The burning of faults is possible in all voltage levels by short-term burning.
The Teleflex SX is operated by the new touchscreen and the wellproven control knob functionality. The interface is shown on a sharp and very bright 10.4” display. The Teleflex SX is specially adapted to the fast events during fault location in power cables. The easyGO operation is reduced to the important and essential steps and runs mostly fully automatically. The new hardware with improved parameters such as sampling frequency, pulse width and impulse amplitude guarantees lager ranges and highest resolution.
1750 Joules (optional 3500 J) of surge energy provide the necessary high power for fast and accurate pinpointing of cable faults by the acoustic method. The portable Surgeflex 32 is mounted on a trolley with large wheels which makes the unit suitable for easy field operation. The system can also be fixed installed into a vehicle.
The SPG 40 is a mobile, multi-functional system for testing, prelocation, pinpointing and converting cable faults in low and medium voltage networks.
The system is directly controlled via CAN Bus by the connected Teleflex SX or via the integrated PLC operating panel. All functions of the system can be easily performed using the rotary encoder. The system supports easy and clear handling, even for inexperienced users.
At the same time, the highest degree of safety is guaranteed.
